About CURT JOHNSON

Bringing decades of experience across the commercial real estate spectrum, Curt Johnson began his career with Westcor, Inc. (later acquired by Macerich), specializing in retail development and management. He has since built a distinguished career as a commercial real estate broker with a focus on corporate services, advising clients on leasing, sales, investments, and asset management.

Over the course of his career, Curt has managed commercial real estate operations across multiple regions for global firms, collaborating with specialized teams in office, retail, industrial, multifamily, land, and investment properties. He has consistently served in lead brokerage roles, guiding complex transactions and strategic initiatives.

In addition to his brokerage experience, Curt held senior executive positions with First American Financial, where he served as Vice Chairman and President. During his tenure, he led and established national platforms within Commercial Services and Homebuilder/Land Development, helping scale operations and drive growth at a national level.

Today, Curt remains actively engaged as a diversified commercial real estate advisor and investor, bringing institutional-level insight to both large-scale portfolios and local market opportunities.

Curt holds the prestigious CRE (Counselor of Real Estate) and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designations. He has been an active member of leading industry organizations including NAIOP, MBA, NAHB, and PCBC, and previously served on the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

He is also a Senior Faculty Member of the CCIM Institute, where he teaches advanced courses in valuation, financial analysis, taxation, and comparative investment analysis.

Curt earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from Arizona State University and has extensive experience advising on both multi-million and multi-billion dollar real estate opportunities.
